AQUA TACK HD2

Vertex Aqua Tack HD2 Grease is a high-performance Calcium Sulfonate Complex Grease developed for extreme pressure (EP) applications. Unlike conventional calcium sulfonate greases, Aqua Tack HD2 is formulated using overbased calcium sulfonate complex technology, a robust thickener system that delivers outstanding mechanical stability, load-carrying capacity, and corrosion protection. Aqua tack HD2 is manufactured using a calcium sulfonate detergent containing excess calcium carbonate (CaCO₃) dispersed at the nanoscopic level within the sulfonate matrix, creating an overbased structure with a reserve alkalinity that reinforces the grease and neutralises acidic contaminants. The overbased chemistry provides superior protection against wear, rust, and oxidation, ensuring long-term performance under severe operating conditions. Vertex Aqua Tack HD2 is ideally suited for heavy-duty industrial, marine, and automotive applications where durability, water resistance, and corrosion protection are critical.
